Keema Matar with pav is one of the most frequently requested dishes in my house. My husband and I fell in love with this dish while we were staying in Mumbai and it has somewhat become a ritual to welcome rains with this dish and a tall glass of chilled water melon juice. Its such a simple dish to make but still feels like a treat everytime we have it! Many friends and family members who have had this ask me what ingredients I use to make this dish dhabba style. The truth is, there is no secret ingredient to the secret ingredient soup (remember kung ku panda)! Indian recipes are so versatile and most poeple, incuding me, dont use measuring spoons and cups to make dishes. Generally, I go with my instincts on what I think will taste good and what ingredient will incorporate well with the rest of the dish.
