Sabudana (Sago) Kheer

Ingredients

1 Medium Sized Cup Sabudana (Sago)

1/2 Medium Sized Cup Sugar

3 Medium Sized Cups Milk

1 Table Spoon Cashew

2 Tea Spoons Raisins

2 Tea Spoons Charoli / Chironji (Saara Pappu)

10 Cardamoms Powder made by Peeling off Ski

Cooking Procedure

Heat 4 medium cups of Water in a thick container on low heat.When the water is boiling add water cleaned Sabudana (Sago) and cook on low heat. Keep stirring the liquid to avoid Sabudana (Sago) forming lumps or it getting roasted at the bottom of container.Take it off the heat after Sabudana is well cooked and liquid turns thick.

Now heat the Milk separately and add it to the cooked Sabudana along with Sugar, Cashew, Raisins, Cardamom Powder. Mix all the ingredients well.

Tastes good with Puri or can be had as a snack.
