Ingredients

1 Cup Almonds

1 Cup Cashew

1 Cup Poppy Seeds (Gasa Gasalu)

1/2 Cup Grated Dry Coconut

1 Cup Dry Date Pieces

1/2 Cup Chironji (Saara Pappu)

1/2 Cup Raisins

10 Cardamom Powder without layer

4 Cups Milk

1.5 Cups Sugar

1.5 Tea Spoons Ghee

Cooking Procedure

n n Remove Seeds from Dry Dates and make pieces of it. To remove seeds, hit the dates with a heavy kitchen appliance. Thick pieces can be made using a grinder.n n Grind Poppy Seeds (Gasa Gasalu) separately and keep the powder aside.n n Grind Dry Coconut separately and keep it aside.n n Grind Almonds, Cashew, Chironji (Saara Pappu) into thick powder, make sure it doesn't turn into fine powder.n n Add Poppy Seeds, Dry Coconut and Almonds, Cashew, Chironji powder and mix well.n n Heat Ghee in a wide pan and add the mixed powder. Fry it on very low heat for 10 minutes and keep it for later use.n n Heat Milk in a bowl and while the milk is boiling add fried powder and cook on low heat until the mixture is cooked and it turns into liquid paste.n n Add Sugar to the paste and cook for 5 more minutes on low heat.n n Add Raisins, Cardamom powder to the cooked ingredients and mix well.n n Take off the heat after paste turns thick.nnn   Kids would love it and serves as good source of energy for every one.nn  n
