Ingredients

1/2 Kg Chicken

One Big Lemon Size Tamarind

2 Onions cut vertically

3 Green Chillies

10 Curry Leaves

2 Small Coriander Bunches

1 Small Mint Bunch

2 to 2.5 Table Spoons Oil

Salt & Red Chilly Powder to Taste

Pinch of Turmeric

1.5 Tea Spoon Ginger Garlic Paste

1/2 Tea Spoon Jeera (Cumin) Powder

1/2 Tea Spoon Fenugreek Seed Powder

1 Tea Spoon Coriander Powder

Cooking Procedure

Soak Tamarind in little water and make a cup of thick Tamarind Juice / Pulusu.

Heat Oil in a Pan and add Green Chilly, Curry Leaves, cut Onion.

After Onion turns golden brown add Turmeric Powder and mix.

Add cleaned Chicken pieces, Salt & Red Chilly Powder. Mix and let it cook on low heat until water in the Chicken is absorbed.

Add 1 cup of water to the Chicken and cook on low heat until Chicken is well cooked.

Add Tamarind (Pulusu) to the cooked Chicken.

Add Jeera Powder, Fenugreek Powder, Coriander Powder and mix well.

Garnish with Fresh Coriander, Mint and turn off the heat when gravy turns thick.

Notes

Jeera, Fenugreek Seeds, Coriander need to be fried in a pan before making powder
