Welcome to Pastry Workshop! My name is Olguta and I am the 26 year old writer, recipe developer and photographer behind this blog. I have a huge passion for desserts made from scratch, using natural ingredients and sugar and butter are part of my religion. I am a Journalism graduate, but I have a pastry chef diploma since 2012 when I finished classes and an apprenticeship at a renowned hotel in Bucharest. That’s also the year this blog was born as a result of me wanting to share my journey from novice in the kitchen to pastry chef and although I have learnt a lot over the past 2 years, I still feel like I’m nowhere near to the level of knowledge I want to be. I guess that’s the beauty of things in patisserie – there’s always something to learn!
