Ingredients

1cup myda/all purpose flour.

2tbsp ghee.

oil for deep fry.

3/4cup sugar.

1/2cup water.

1/4tsp cardamom powder.

2tsp rice flour.

pinch of baking soda.

1/4tsp baking powder.

1tsp semolina or sooji.

few drops of lime juice.

Cooking Procedure

n 1.Boil ghee and add 1tbsp to 1 cup of all purpose flour,add baking powder and bakingsoda,sooji, water and mix it like chapati flour and keep it aside for half hour.nn 2.In the remaining ghee add rice flour,mix well with out lumps and keep aside.nn 3.Divide the dough into equal parts and make chapatis,spread it as thin as possible.nn 4.Apply the ghee,rice flour paste on the top and spread it evenly.nn 5.roll the chapati from oneside to the other,so that we can see concentric circles on both ends.nn 6.using a knife cut into small pieces starting from one end.press it slightly with your palms.nn 7.deep fry them in oil till they get nice colour.nn 8.For bigger size place one chapati on the other applying rice flour ,ghee paste on the top of each layer and roll together.nn 9.cut them into pieces and roll with the rolling pin to flatten and fry in oil.nn sugar syrup:nn 1. To a large bowl add sugar and water,bring it to boil on medium high heat.nn 2. when it starts boiling,reduce the heat to medium low add cardamom powder and boil it till single thread consistancy.nn 3. Now add the fried kaajas to this syrup and soak for 2 mins.nn 4. Take them out and serve hot.nn  nn  nn  n
