About Recipe

As I continue to develop more savoury recipes, I constantly love to create dishes packed full of lentils. Lentils are such a great ingredient to keep at home, they’re not only nutritious but they’re also a cheap staple you can keep in the shelves and add into any dish to provide a great source of protein. Today, I combined red and brown lentils with herbs and spices to make into some healthy meatballs. If you feel like something different, you could always use this meatball mix and make it into some tasty lentil burgers, as I think that would work great too! To create an Italian feel with this dish, I paired the meatballs with a marinara sauce. For a lighter dinner option I served this with courgette (zucchini) noodles, but if you’re craving something more filling you could definitely enjoy this with spaghetti or pasta!
