I am sure most of you grew up with your mom telling you all the time the importance of eating soup. We grew up that way! We had soup couple times a week and definitely on Sundays (especially Borscht). I have brought this tradition into our home. There are so many reasons to enjoy soup; it’s easy to make, healthy and very affordable. My mom always seasoned her meat and honestly I cannot imagine soup with unseasoned meat. It gives the soup and meat SOO MUCH flavor. I also love the flavor the red pepper adds to the soup. My children don’t like the pepper so I cut it large so they don’t have to remove the peppers yet it still adds great flavor. I do like peppers so I just load up with the peppers in my bowl.
