I was thinking of the things I used to prepare for my kids to eat as they were running out the door to Friday night high school football games. Our children were in the band and had very little time, if any, to come home on Friday afternoons. Meals had to be quick and more often than not, something they could carry with them. Sandwiches made an appearance at least one a month.

Ingredients

Flour Tortillas

Romaine Lettuce

sliced cooked Turkey Breast

sliced Cheddar Cheese

Apple-Wood Smoked Bacon, cooked

vine-ripened Tomato, cored and sliced

Hass Avocado

Kosher Salt and Freshly Ground Pepper

Arugula, washed and dried

Ranch Dressing, homemade or store-bought
