This Ghee rice recipe is extremely flavourful, the rice is so fluffy, can be made with minimal ingredients, about to become your new family favourite and on your table under 20 mins or less than that.
1 cup of basmati rice
3 tablespoon of ghee
1 onion sliced
2 tablespoon of cashews
2 tablespoon of raisins (www.nithisclickncook.com)
Wash and soak the basmati rice prior cooking.
Fry the cashews and raisins in ghee for just a few seconds until the cashews are lightly browned and raisins are slightly puffed up. Collect them in a bowl and set aside.
Fry the cinnamon, cloves, bay leaf, sliced onion and peppercorns in ghee for few seconds until fragrant. Collect them in a bowl and set aside.
